Hello, grown ups!
I'm Kirsten — a psychologist, a mum — and the one behind Little Pages®.
I've always dreamed of writing children's books. You know the ones you treasure for a lifetime? The ones with lessons you never forget? But life got in the way, things got busy, and it got shoved into the 'too hard' basket.
When I became a parent, I decided this was the time. I'd never been so busy, nor sleep deprived, but now I had the perfect reason to write... my daughter! And let's be honest, I craved some time to myself, doing the things I love!
And so, whilst on maternity leave, I started writing... And in 2023, I finished my first two books.
The main characters? Our dogs^... Bam-Bam* and Pep, two Italian Greyhounds.

*Her name is actually Bambi, but because Disney has trademarked this name, we've opted to use one of her nicknames in the stories instead.

I'm a psychologist, so my books are inspired by psychology — specifically emotions and wellbeing. It's what I know best and what I love dearly. My books are all about sparking joy and building little "toolkits" for tackling the big stuff.

I hope you love them. And I also hope that one day, Little Pages® becomes your go-to for delightful, educational and practical children's books.
